Description
|
Available in
several color combinations, this RCA Victor model 96X11 is as
attractive as any. Resurfaced with a very stylish navy, black and
dark gray, multi-tiered color scheme, this radio's look is
one of classy understatement, a look that is so appealing to many
collectors. The fluid deco form elements drive the point home. The
more you look at it, the more you realize that it could just as
easily be a period building, rather than a charming electronic
appliance. One of the most recognized deco designers of the era,
John Vassos, custom designed this cabinet for RCA. His association
with the model makes it all the more unique and desirable,
particularly to collectors who really understand the period.
Measuring 11" wide x 7-1/2" tall x 7-1/2" deep, the radio has
been fully restored to Mint, working condition, and is missing
its cardboard backplate so you can witness for yourself the entire
working components within.
