This package is made up of the following:
Actual 1Ct Engagement Ring given to Peggy Sue Gerron by Jerry Allison; drummer for
Buddy Holly and the Crickets.
This ring is authentic and was acquired directly from Peggy Sue. Letter of
Authenticity available.
Handwritten account in her own hand, detailing how Peggy Sue came to meet Buddy
Holly and Jerry Allison, a chronology of events leading up to the proposal "On
Bended Knee" by Jerry Allison to Peggy Sue. An account of the wedding and
events surrounding it as well as a timeline of particularly significant Buddy
Holly records. This account is autographed in bright red by Peggy Sue.
Photograph of Buddy Holly, Maria Elena, Jerry Allison and Peggy Sue taken while
they were on honeymoon in Acapulco.
Original 78 RPM record of "Peggy Sue Got Married"
All items are professionally framed in a beautiful Black Lacquer Shadow Box with
Black Suede Matte, inner frame around photo and red backing matte. The
Black frame has red accent pinstriping on edges.
Handwritten account is enclosed behind Conservation Glass and is certain to
retain its original brightness and clarity for generations.
Comes with a Certified copy of Marriage Certificate issued in 1977. This
is the only copy of this certificate that Peggy Sue has ever had and was
provided by Peggy Sue personally.
Also included is a Certified appraisal of the Peggy Sue ring, obtained from a
local Jeweler in Lubbock, Texas.
